Careers

We hire people who obsess over rigor.

Unio is not a feature factory. It is an outcomes engine. If you care about systems that are measurable, explainable, and built to survive real classrooms, you will fit here.

The Work

What you will build here

A concept-level learning system that stays clean at scale

Analytics that convert into teacher action

Student workflows that drive execution, not just engagement

Psychometric measurement that is usable and responsible

This is the kind of product where details matter: data models, tagging discipline, intervention design, and trust.

Culture

How we work

High standards, low ego

We argue with evidence, not volume.

Own outcomes

If you ship it, you measure it. If it does not work, you fix it.

Build for trust

Explainability and auditability are not "later." They are the product.

Open Roles

Where you fit in

Senior Developer (Full-stack)

Build the core systems that power concept mastery, assessments, analytics, and execution workflows. Correctness is non-negotiable.

What you will own

  • The platform backbone: courses, tasks, assessments, messaging, fees, connected through shared data models
  • Data-heavy product surfaces: teacher analytics, mastery maps, student dashboards, intervention flows
  • Engineering quality: performance, observability, audit trails, permissions, clean abstractions

What we look for

  • Strong full-stack fundamentals and engineering judgment
  • Comfort with data models that must stay consistent over time
  • Ability to ship quickly without lowering correctness
  • Bonus: experience in edtech, analytics platforms, or workflow products

Psychometrician (Assessment Scientist)

Design, validate, and operationalize measurement that actually helps teachers and students. Without turning psychology into labels.

What you will own

  • The psychometric battery: construct definition, item design, scoring models, reliability evidence
  • Making measurement usable: translating scores into outputs that are understandable, ethically framed, and lead to better interventions
  • Scientific standards: versioning, norming strategy, bias checks, monitoring drift

What we look for

  • Strong psychometrics background (classical + modern methods)
  • Ability to design instruments that survive real deployment constraints
  • High ethical standards: privacy, consent, interpretability, harm prevention
  • Bonus: experience with large-scale assessment programs
