Why this exists
Marks flatten learners. Teachers rarely get time to look closer.
Two students can score 67 for different reasons. One slipped on a step, the other never understood the concept the question rests on. The report card records the same number for both.

Reading every answer closely takes hours
The working on the page shows how a student thinks. With full batches and a test every week, few teachers have the hours to read every script that closely, so the mark becomes the record.

Unio is a cognitive foundation for personalised learning. At its centre is the Model of Mind, built for each student. Assessment, grading and personalised practice are the surfaces that sharpen it.

The Model of Mind, built on evidence.
It begins with a psychometric assessment of 151 items scoring 76 variables, matched against the 102 career dimensions of each of 148 careers. Over time it is combined with academic evidence from the student’s own tests.

Upload a paper you already use, build one from the question bank or generate one from your own sources. Every question is tagged to the concepts it tests.
Grading
Marks with the reasoning attached
Handwritten answer sheets are marked against your scheme, with step marks and a note on where the reasoning broke. Each answer adds evidence about the concepts behind it.
Personalised practice
Practice aimed at each student’s gaps
Homework is generated for a whole batch at once, with each student’s sheet focused on their own weak concepts.

Unio suggests marks and next steps and flags answers it is unsure about. Teachers confirm or change any mark, and results reach students only when they are released.

We do not publish accuracy figures or promise better scores. Each estimate in the learner model is held with its evidence count and confidence, not presented as certain.

Built with institutes on real papers
Unio is shaped on the handwritten answer sheets and marking schemes institutes already use, in Classes 9 to 12 across mathematics, physics, chemistry, economics, accountancy and applied mathematics.
Limits
Honest about limits
Our deepest coverage is CBSE, Classes 8 to 12, with JEE and NEET preparation. Share your syllabus and we will confirm coverage before you start, then begin with a pilot on one batch.
